Bumps on the Move is our pregnancy fitness class designed to take the guess work out of movement during pregnancy. We treat each pregnant Mama as an individual, helping you to understand what's going to work for you specifically. We follow the latest guidelines on pregnancy exercise so you (and your baby) can get the most out of our classes. 

Who will be guiding you through your Mamas on the Move sessions? 

I will! My name is Tash. I have been training clients during pregnancy and postpartum for the last 8 years. I am a REPS registered Personal Trainer and I have completed 3 pre and postnatal specialist certifications, the latest in 2025. I have 3 little ones (2 years, 5 years and 7 years old). I am super passionate about supporting women with evidence based information; I want you to feel confident navigating exercise both during pregnancy and postpartum. With the right guidance this is absolutely possible. 

Most women don’t meet the recommended exercise guidelines for movement during pregnancy and I totally understand why! Trying to work out what you should or should not be doing can feel totally overwhelming, at an already overwhelming time of life. I am here to change that with support, knowledge, guidance, lots of empathy, care and fun!

What does the course include?

**1 weekly face to face session over a 10 week course.

**Access to online videos with everything you need to know about exercising during this stage i.e. what do the guidelines say, is it 'safe' to exercise during pregnancy, benefits of exercise, pelvic floor and core considerations, how to know when to adjust and adapt, tips for birth. 

**Priority access to our Postnatal Mamas on the Move course once you have had your little one.

What to expect in our Bumps on the Move sessions? 

**EDU-CHATS - We start the session with bitesize educational chats. How do I look after my pelvic floor during pregnancy? How do I know if the exercise I am doing is okay for me and my baby? How do I know when to adapt? Does movement help me with birthing my baby and if so how? We will dispel some of the common myths. We also use this time as a chance for you to connect with other Mamas to be - finding your Mum tribe can make a big difference to how we experience birth and beyond. 

**FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENTS - THIS IS NOT A YOGA OR PILATES CLASS. There is absolutely nothing wrong with yoga or pilates (both great forms of movement) but that’s not what this class is. In this class expect to be working on movements that we use in everyday life, movements that support you with strength and function, core and pelvic floor health, both during pregnancy and motherhood. Squats, lunges, pushes, pulls…We will use bodyweight, dumbbells and kettlebells. 

Motherhood is a physically challenging task - strength and fitness is so important! 

**CORE & PELVIC FLOOR - One misconception is that during pregnancy we should stop training our core. Pregnancy is a time when we want maintain core strength and function BUT this does require adaptations and adjustments. This is a time when your pelvic floor can be significantly challenged - Our class will give you the tools to support your pelvic health, integral during pregnancy and beyond. 

**LIMITED SPACES - Class sizes will be capped to ensure that you get the appropriate level of support.
